Training programs: group and individual

MXV Gym has a full compliment of equipment to provide a work out that is right for you. From free weights, to Kaisers (resistance trainers), to kettlebells and TRX trainers, to ellipticals, to a Jacob's Ladder and Stair machine, benches, bars, Rogue floor-glute, belt squat, ropes, sleds (for use outside when weather permits).

At the back of the gym is the MXV Studio where there is tai chi, yoga, and group fitness training. The studio boasts a lake view and an outdoor lawn for classes when weather permits.

Scott Croucher teaches fitness and tai chi and sets up training programs. He teaches a modified Yang Style Tai Chi. Locally he's been teaching some who've been practicing with him over the past 10 years.

Janna Burgart teaches yoga. The classes are balanced yoga classes incorporating pranayama, meditation, asana and nidra. She is a 500hr RYT that finds joy in teaching both yoga and skiing!

Scott Croucher and Janna Burgart

Scott started running kettle bell instruction in 2010 in a small store front. In 2012 Scott and Janna opened MXV Gym and the Soup Wallah. A gym and cafe all at once! Lots of fun but challenging running 2 business in one household with three young children. In 2017 they made the decision to move shop into their own space and discontinue the cafe. The new gym allowed for much more space for classes and gym goers. Scott now had space to teach tai chi and Janna was quick to get certified as a yoga instructor to teach in their beautiful lakeview studio.
Both Scott and Janna are committed to creating space where there is room for community to connect and support healthy living.
